This exciting camp will give youths, between the ages of 11-15, the opportunity to try a variety of challenging activities that will stimulate the senses. Each session will include a variety activities such as kayaking, ropes courses, laser tag, paintball amusement parks and swimming.

FREE SIX FLAGS SEASON PASS* - We will give a 2020 Six Flags Season Pass to every camper who is signed up for at least 2 even numbered camp sessions (Session, 2,4,6,& 8).  Already have a Six Flags Season's Pass? No Problem!  Call us and let us know and we will credit your account $25 for each even numbered session the camper is enrolled in. *Camper must bring their Six Flags Season Pass with them to camp on the days that we travel to Six Flags.  Season passes will be available to be picked up after March 16, 2020.

Emails regarding weather cancellations or changes will be sent to the parents who have "opted in" to receive our "cancellation" emails. 

2020 Trips will be posted soon, many of the locations we go to are closed this time of year so it takes a little longer to confirm all the details.

General Information
  • Participants will meet daily at the Simsbury Farms Ice Rink Facility from 8:15AM-3:15PM, unless otherwise specified in pre camp letter to parents.
  • Campers must provide their own lunch and transportation to and from camp.
  • Participants must be at least entering 6th grade in Fall 2020.
  • Program information and waivers will be emailed to you at least 1 week in advance. Please bring signed forms with you on the first day of the camp session.
  • If a session is Waitlist Only, you must sign up your child for the waitlist, following the prompts all the way to the end just like registering for the camp. You will not be required to pay at the end. We will call or email you if a spot opens up for your child.

Canoeing & Stand-up Paddleboarding at WEU, Farmington River Tubing, Lake Compounce

Session 7 - 2019
Adventure Park at Storrs Ropes Course, Paintball, Six Flags

*All trips are tentatively scheduled. The Simsbury Recreation Dept. reserves the right to make changes to the schedule based on enrollment numbers, weather, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
