Come ski and board at Ski Sundown this winter! A coach bus will pick up participants and chaperones at HJMS right after school to ski from 3 to 7 PM. Participants have the option to take lessons or ski on their own during this time. The coach bus will return to HJMS at 7:30 PM for parent pick-up.
There a limited number of spaces available for this program. When registering online you will be prompted to print out and complete Ski Sundown’s Program Agreement form. This form will need to be returned to the Rec. Dept within 1 week of your online registration date in order for your registration to be fully confirmed. Form is also listed below under FORMS. Failure to return the signed form to the Rec Office will result in your child’s spot in the program forfeited and fee refunded.

This program depends on parent volunteers! Please sign-up to volunteer if you can chaperone all or a few weeks of the program. The program will not run if we do not have enough parent chaperones. Chaperones can ski/board during the program for free, but do not need to. As a thank you, chaperones receive lift tickets at the end of the program depending on the number of days they helped.

Registration ends Friday October 27th, 2023! All forms must be received within 1 week of your signing up for the registration to be finalized.
After 10/27 there is a $25 late fee. Please contact the rec department if your interested in registering late.

RENTAL INFORMATION
For participants who need to rent equipment:

-Make sure to put the proper shoe size on the form. It will make the rental process much quicker on the 1st day.
-Make sure to wear proper socks for skiing and snowboarding. Socks should be calf height or higher, made of -wool or a blend, and participants should only wear 1 pair of socks for the most comfortable fit.
-Pants must be wide enough to cover the boots.

LOST AND FOUND INFORMATION
Gear must be labeled! Many season long rentals look the same. Ensure your child's gear is labeled so they do not miss out on ski time. The best way to mark your child's name on skis and snowboards is with duct tape.
