Flag Touch Fun - Grades 3 through 6 (as of 2016-2017 school year)
Join us for an introductory course in one of the nation's fastest growing sports. We will be running a non-contact, flag rugby group from 5:30-7:30pm at Weatogue Park. With rugby being added to the next Olympic games, and a strong US National Team, there has been an increased interest in introducing rugby to high school age and younger. This summer program will be non-contact but will teach kids how to play the game and stay safe while doing it. With safety in mind we do encourage parents to provide a mouthguard and water for their kids. Please send your child wearing sneakers. Registration for this program will be open to children in grades 3-6, who will then be split in to smaller groups to play. The program will be run by the Simsbury High School Varsity Rugby coaches to encourage a safe and fun introduction to the game.



USA 7's Rugby -  Grades 7 & 8 (as of 2016-2017 school year)
Fantastic course that will take your player through the basics of Rugby. We will  start out with flag non contact Rugby with fast paced fun small games to enhance your players skills, confidence and physical fitness. We will look to take the kids through flag and eventually into some light tackling and contact to teach scrums,  lineout's and other rugby basics to get your player a feel for a real rugby experience. Coaches will stress fundamentals and safe skills.
