Making Faces: Makeup Training and Technique



In this session, students will be learning basic techniques about defining and enhancing their features with makeup. Students will get hands on experience while utilizing the latest in products, tools and techniques. 



This session will introduce students to today’s make-up industry, including product knowledge, hygiene, and selection of colors. Students will also receive an overview of basic skincare, eyebrow shaping, eye shadow, eyeliner, blushes, and lip application.




Day 1
Skin care and foundation
Eye Brows Arts
Eye liners and eye shadows



Day 2
Blending techniques (Light, Medium, Dark)
Blushes and Lips (Lips liner and Lips gloss)

About the Instructor
Devanney Do is a certified cosmetologist, field expert and is a licensed cosmetician in the State of Connecticut. Dev’s formal training spans from programs in the areas of makeup, eyelash and eyebrow extensions to massage therapy and nail care, all taught through certified award-winning aestheticians. Dev relies on her own method for all beauty applications and works closely with each client to ensure individual goals and expectations are met.

Through her years of education and experience, Dev has garnered a wealth of knowledge in the beauty and nail care industry and is proud to offer those services to her clients. Dev’s passion for her work stems from a sincere love of the beauty industry and her desire of teaching others a skill that will last them a lifetime.
