“To Develop and enhance the options of self-defense, so that they may become viable considerations to the woman who is attacked.”- Lawrence Nadeau, Founder of R.A.D. Systems.

The R.A.D. System of Self-Defense offers both 9 and 12 hour programs for women.  These offerings provide a truly holistic approach to self-defense education.  R.A.D. supports the necessity of continuous learning in order to provide realistic self-defense options for women as they go through life.  Each of these programs includes educational components comprised of lecture, discussion, and physical resistive strategies; all of which are facilitated by certified R.A.D. Instructors, supported by a network of dedicated professionals who honor one another’s students through a unique lifetime return and practice policy.

This 12-hour class is for resident women ages 14 and up and will be taught by Officers Lauren Devin and Laurel Harrington from the Simsbury Police Department.
